Thought Leader in Cybersecurity to Describe Vision for How Businesses Can Leverage the Cloud to Reduce Their Risk
AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 07, 2017 — Edgile, the leading cyber risk and regulatory compliance consulting firm, today announced that CEO, Don Elledge, will be featured on Oppenheimer’s 20th Annual Technology, Internet and Communications Conference cybersecurity expert panel. The conference will be held August 8-9, 2017 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts.
Oppenheimer’s security panel, entitled ‘Shrinking the Attack Surface with Enterprise Security’, will take place on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, 9:45-10:30 a.m. Elledge will discuss the latest advances in cybersecurity strategy and technology, as well as how organizations are transforming their security models to decrease complexity and reduce the attackable surface area to cost-effectively lower risk.
“The private network was not designed to operate in the age of digital and continually manipulating it to secure the modern enterprise has increased our risk. We have to start thinking differently about how we secure our organizations,” said Elledge. “Although it might seem counterintuitive, the cloud can actually reduce the surface area, and increase the manageability of security in today’s digital environment.”
This panel will be webcast. Contact opcoconferences@opco.com for more information.
