Modern identity solutions are a challenge for many IT teams

Managing access in today’s data-driven, ever-evolving regulatory and remote work environment is critical. But Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions can be complex and challenging. Many identity programs fail to deliver expected ROI from the outset due to a lack of strategic focus, improper planning, absence of key stakeholder buy-in, and unrealistic expectations.

Edgile builds the foundation for your SailPoint IIQ implementation

To jump start a Phase 1 IIQ deployment, Edgile first embarks on a 5-week foundational “Phase 0” strategic planning engagement to gather detailed requirements and perform current-state analysis with use case definitions and testing. You’ll end up with hardware and sizing recommendations married to detailed design specifications and a recommended strategic implementation plan to drive a successful Phase 1 IIQ rollout.

SailPoint IIQ mapping and testing requirements workflows

Edgile’s Phase 0 engagement creates a Requirements Traceability Matrix that maps specific requirements to corresponding use and test cases. This ensures desired functionality is properly developed and tested before you begin your Phase 1 implementation program.

Example:

Requirements workflow for an employee onboarding use case

Detect new record from the authoritative source; Workday with hire reason is “new hire;” operating company ID is “8001;” start date is today or in the future.

Provisioning:
• AD on-prem in Corp domain
• Azure AD
• Exchange Online mailbox/365 license

Assign birthright roles based on Workday

Create ServiceNow ticket

Send notification email to user’s manager including user’s login information

Audit and log all events in IIQ; refresh user’s identity cube

Once manager updates user’s location information via the ServiceNow ticket and the user’s ServiceNow account is created:
• Aggregate user account from ServiceNow
• Populate AD account with new information
