Join Edgile at Knowledge 2021

By Lauren Thomas

We’re excited to once again join forces with the ServiceNow team and meet with customers and prospects at Knowledge 2021.  Every year this amazing event offers tremendous insights designed to propel organizations of all sizes forward.  The show will be fully digital this year so we’ll miss seeing everyone in person. But we do look forward to seeing everyone soon.

This year, Edgile has been asked to present two very exciting case studies based on the recent work we’ve done designing and implementing ServiceNow IRM and VRM with prominent clients.

The first case study—“Implementing IRM and VRM in just 12 weeks at a world-class health provider—will be co-hosted by a leading healthcare organization. Attendees will see first-hand how the organization was able to operationalize key use cases powered by ServiceNow’s Vendor Risk Management (VRM) and Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions.

“COVID-19 has posed challenges for all industries, and those challenges, coupled with recent wide-reaching breaches involving suppliers, have put an especially bright light on the need to automate Third Party Risk Management in healthcare provider environments,” said Greg Liebergen, Director at Edgile. “Similarly, integrated risk and compliance to address evolving privacy and security mandates has also become an acute issue facing healthcare providers with stretched resources. We successfully delivered this ServiceNow IRM and Vendor Risk Management “Quick Start” project at the onset of COVID lockdown, entirely remotely, in just 12-weeks, and have built a great working relationship with the client. Even more gratifying, we were able to help front-line healthcare providers in crisis and make their lives better through automation and an improved user experience.”

The second session—“A large manufacturing company makes consistent, risk-informed decisions at an accelerated pace”—will highlight one of the world’s largest heavy equipment manufacturers and suppliers to the U.S. Department of Defense and their journey to sunset a legacy GRC solution and optimize their IRM processes. They teamed with Edgile to create a dynamically generated business hierarchy, harmonize multiple compliance regimes with an integrated risk methodology, assess PCI DSS compliance, attest that security controls are in place, and manage findings and remediations.

“What made this project exciting is that this wasn’t a ‘lift and shift’ from a legacy Archer GRC platform to ServiceNow GRC, but instead was truly transformative,” says Brian Rizman, Partner at Edgile. “From reducing friction in high-use processes, to automating the business hierarchy that was fully integrated with organization leadership roles and application owners, we were able to develop a world-class solution without customizing the platform.”
